Spiderman on Broadway

We were SO lucky to be invited along to Spiderman, Turn off the Dark on broadway today... OMG - this kid had his first broadway show aged FIVE!! I was about 25 I think when I went to Bway for the first time!! Reeve Carney was amazing as Spiderman, and we waited 40 minutes to get his autograph and photo after, by which time, Spence was fried and refused to have it taken (although I did sneak in something) - we had the best time, despite S having a meltdown when Uncle Ben was shot dead, and there were a lot of tears and I thought it was all over then but thankfully he held on till the (almost three hour but worth it) bitter end.

Last day of school

Margaux on her last day at WNP... we had a great three years at this school, will be so sad to leave it..

Swept off her feet

Here is Margaux with her crush, Denim, on their way to her last day of school carnival...

me and Harry Potter/Daniel Radcliffe

I was invited to join a friend recently at Daniel Radcliffe's Broadway show - How to Succeed in Business. The show was amazing, he is a little ball of energy (and I can't stress enough how "little" he is, but enormous in talent)
I tried hanging around afterwards to get his autograph on my program, but so did about 8 thousand other people. This is as close as I got..

Joe and the Rockettes

We went to a lovely wedding of a friend of ours recently. She happens to be a New York City Rockette so Joe attached himself to a bunch of them post wedding...! Look at that sheepish grin!

Annapolis Part Two

Annapolis

Yesterday we spent the day in Annapolis, MD with our friends Peter & Paulla on their boat. As it was a record breaking heatwave, it was took good to say no to. Here are some shots from our amazing day.

some cute pics forgot to include

Margaux turns THREE!

Yizer, what a week. After throwing the Red Party for 22 women on Tuesday, I then went down to Philadelphia to help throw a bridal shower for 41 women on Friday night (as my duty as oldest bridesmaid ever), came straight back to NY Saturday morning to throw Margaux's Third Bday party - 16 kids - 14 adults... And then today we went to a wedding but that's for another time.. We had a great party on the deck (of course!) and I did buttermilk fried chicken for all... OMG - never again, SO much work!! I fried up about 40 pieces of chicken, it was being eaten up faster than I could cook it!! We had the most amazing face painter ever (Sheila J faces) that entertained the kids and all in all, another success! Spencer was too cool for school to get his face painted...

My kids....

are more and more delicious every day....You can be as poor as a church mouse, but no amount of money can buy this kind of happiness!

The Deck...

Is looking amazing. I can't believe I resisted Joe doing this for four years. He has done the most incredible job. It's a gem in the heart of Brooklyn. I want to charter a helicopter to fly over it and see it in all it's glory! You don't understand, this is HUGE for Brooklyn to have this kind of space.. So, so lucky... Mr green thumb husband has worked a miracle!

A street named after me...

As most of you know, Hayley coined the phrase "Doris" for me, due to some slow (but safe, unlike her formula one driving) and it seems to have stuck with the London posse.... Here I am in New Jersey and couldn't resist the pic...

Happy Birthday To Me

FORTY BLOODY TWO...
OMG...
So I threw myself a "Red Night Delight" Party.. It was actually a lot of fun. I had 22 (girl) friends over, all wearing red (except a couple that forgot), I served all Red Food and Drink, (melon salad, tomato and basil skewers, salmon on (home made, never again) bellinis, red pepper dip, etc, red velvet donuts with strawberry ice cream... and served a TON of rose, red wine sangria and campari cocktail. A ton of work but worth it. The weather was a blamy 80 so just perfect. Joe was the most amazing host, and I had the most magical night. Wish you could have joined us!
