Spring is COMING!!

OMG - it was high 60s today. Crazy as some streets that clearly don't get much sunlight, still have snow on the sidewalks (yank for pavement) but it was glorious!! The kids made it on the deck. Spence poked his head out of the car's sun roof and Margaux meanwhie is obsessed with this ad and we are watching it 50 times a day. So she loves to put on her tinkerbell costume, Spencer's darth vadar mask and try and do the 'force' with our poor little fishes.

My valentines was presented with this card written in its entirety by Spencer - his first full sentence!! And then we discovered Margaux LOVES playing doctor - here is her first victim - Cassius at school. A very willing patient.

We robbed a bank

or so Spencer said. We have been saving our One dollar bills since our Disney trip in july, and we achieved our first thousand this morning! We figure one down, four more to go before we promised Spence we would go back to Disney for his 'SIX' birthday - 14 months from now...

Bowling in Brooklyn

Sorry for the delay in posting, have been too busy bitching about the snow. That is finally MELTING!! Whoo hoo! Had a great w/end, we went to the most amazing restaurant in NY - Del Posto for a family celebration, then spent the next day at Brooklyn Bowl bowling. I was pathetic, scored lower than my two year older daughter, but hey, a good time had by all.

Are you kidding me??

This snow is OUT of control now!! We have had three huge storms since Boxing Day, and are due another one tonight. We haven't still cleaned up from the last three!! It's a total mess. In all my off and on years in the States (22) I have never known it to be this awful! These photos are just from the last couple of days. Armaggedon!! I need to be down under until May.
