Just back from a bday w/end in Philadelphia. Here are some great pics of the kids - more of Spence to follow - I promise! Margaux refuses to eat miso soup with a spoon and insists on using chopsticks - thus, dinner can be a messy affair...

End of the World

New York was awash with parties for the supposed 'End of the World'. Here are a couple of superheros next to me on the subway platform. I was glad they were there should something have happened!

Mothers day fun

Spent a delightful mother's day out in South Orange, NJ with our other Brit family friends. Here are some cute pics of Margaux and her mate Emma that I couldn't resist sharing..

Spence was taken by our friends to Storm King for the day today. It's a super cool sculpture park an hour outside Manhattan. Here's some cool shots.

Oh, and congrats Wills and Kate - most beautiful wedding ever.

So after getting up at 5am to watch the wedding, have a little party, had four friends over so made strawberry scones and bacon sarnies.. it was time to celebrate the true star of the day - Spencer turning 5!

Here is his cake I made, I crushed the road out of left over chocolate easter eggs and oreo cookie. We had a party on the deck - lots of fun. Then on saturday we took Spence and his buddy and all of Joe's family to Chinatown Brasserie. Lots of fun - completely exhausted!
